My Pink Stamper National Scrapbook Day Celebration

Hello everyone,

I wanted to share a few of my creations for National Scrapbook Day Celebration over a MPS. I would have loved to have completed more projects but I am so happy to have participated. I tried to do pages because I do have loads of pictures left to scrap and I guess I am a lot fired up about my pages from last week's daily page.

So here are all my entries on one post:
Challenge # 4 - Mother's Day Theme
This card is very similar to the Graduation card I posted last week. I loved the design so much I thought it would look cute in pink and I was right!

Challenge # 7 - Make a scrapbook page
This is another one for my Mother-in-laws book. Title means sister and the pictures are of my MIL and her sisters.

Challenge #10 - Something with a pet
We do not have any pets of our own but my sister-in-law has dogs. This is a page for my MIL's book of her shaggy grand-kids.

Challenge #12 - Something Kid Theme
You recently seen the layout of my son's hair cut story. This picture was taken a couple weeks after showing him do what he does best - RUNNING!

I won't do what was used for this post but if you have any question or you want to know which Cricut cart I used please drop me a line.

Happy Scrapping!

Nuts About Sketches Birthday Celebrations: Sketch 7

Hello everyone,

This is the final sketch of the Nuts About Sketches Birthday celebrations. I had so much fun producing the pages and I got so much done in such a short space of time its is unbelievable!

For Sketch 7, I used pictures of my son having his first hair cut. This is what is written in the journaling:
We weren't exactly ready to give you a hair cut, but when daddy asked, "Why is Aleksi loosing his hair? I knew something was wrong! Aliisa had taken her play scissors and started cutting your hair. Chunks of your beautiful curls were just lying all over the floor. We had to cut it to make it even. Daddy was the happiest, he got out his sheer and got rid of all of it. You still looked cute, but mommy was not too happy because her little baby looked so much like a little man!

What was used:
Cricut  Boys Will Be Boys (Title and shadow 1.50 inches)
Cricut Disney Happily Ever After (Scissors 1.1 and 1.75 inches)
Cuttlebug Polka Dots Embossing Folder
Recollection Basics Red paper (Dots, Small dots and Stripes)
Recollection Black Cardstock
DCWV Textured Cardstock
Red Ink

You have until May 15 at midnight (14th going the 15th) to complete any of these sketches. You will get one entry for every layout you complete. The winner will be picked randomly and will be announced on Monday's regular post. Here is reminder of the Scrapbook Kit that can be won.

Nuts About Sketches Birthday Celebrations: Sketch 6

Hello everyone,

Another page celebrating Nuts About Sketches' birthday! For this sketch I used pictures of my husband and myself on our trip to Stockholm, Sweden summer 2010. It was so nice! It was like a second honeymoon, just the two of us no kids for a week and a half!

I cut a circle out of a tourist map and used it in place of the larger photo to show off the where we stayed and things we did on the trip. I still have to add the journaling though. Some of the embellies (brads and the flower paper on the right) were bought in Sweden too. We had a fun trip and I even got to meet up with a high school girlfriend I had not seen for more than 15 years.

What was used:
Cricut Plantin Schoolbook (letters cut twice at 1.8 inches)
Gartner Studios Airplane Voyage Collection Paper pack
Panduro Hobby Lemongrass sunny Flowers
Panduro Hobby Travel Brads

Nuts About Sketches #159

Hello Again Everyone!

If you are searching for the third Nuts About Sketches birthday sketch click here!

This is my second post today! This is my regular weekly post for Nuts About Sketches.
I was so excited to use this pack of paper for this page, it is DCWV The Playtime Stack. I saw it in Michael's and fell in love with it! I didn't even have to spend my money on it because one of my girlfriends gave me the stack! Thanks hon, you know who you are!

The images are printed right on Kraft paper! Its so cute.  For my page I used only use Kraft paper for cutting my files and then colored them with ink to keep the feel of the paper. I also cut out clouds from another sheet in the stack and popped them up on the page. The photos are of my kids playing in the backyard on a warm summer day and I used the right side of the sketch.

What was used:
Cricut Lyrical Letters (Title letters form 1.7 to 2.4 inches welded on the gypsy)
Cricut Groovy Times (Rainbow cut at 3.5 inches)
DCWV The Playtime Stack
Recollections Kraft Paper
Colorbox Chalk inks
