I found M.A.G. Challenge By The Page and thought what a great idea! They give you the page and you can only use the images on that page in a project! Its so perfect because there are so many carts where you just don't use every image and these challenges can really help us use the carts as well us push to be extra creative.

My Sheri Crafts Challenge #45 - All About Girls

Hello everyone,

It has been a rather rough week for me this week. Both my kids are sick: fever, colds and runny noses. I've had elbows in my neck, feet in my side, slobbered on and just hung-off of. Its funny because they were mostly still, but I feel so worn out!

I really love playing along with Sheri over at My Sheri Crafts and I could not resist this challenge. I chose Forever Young cart for this project. This card is very simply and I used one of my favorite sketches for it. It love using this sketch because cards look good and they are so easy to make.

What was used:
Cricut Forever Young (girl cut at 5 1/4)
Cuttlebug Seeing Spots Embossing Folder
DCWV Embossed Paper Stack
DCWV Glitter Cardstock
Ribbon from Michael's $1 bin
Black flower brads

My Pink Stamper Blog Hop Challenge

The challenge is to make something with the color black and your favorite color/s. I have to admit that my favorite color is blue, but I do not think that there is a more beautiful combination that black and white. I usually do cards for challenges but I have been working on a scrapbook for my Mother-in-law and I thought that I would use the opportunity to do a page for her book.

Love is in the air so I did this lovely wedding page showing off some old photos. The first picture is of my husband's grandparents, then his parents, his brother and the last one is both of us. For a little privacy I edited out the names and dates.

What was used:
SCAL: I used a file from Darcy Design's for the layered flowers
Martha Stewart's Edge Punch
DCWV Embossed Paper Stack
DCWV  Dots paper
Anna Griffin Darcy Collection paper
Set of wedding stickers.

My Pink Stamper Challenge

Hello everyone,

I made this card for a My Pink Stamper Challenge. You'll have to watch her video to find out what the challenge is about.  I have so much stuff to do for Valentine's day so I thought I would use this challenge to work on some cards for that day. I think may use this card as one of my three year old son's teacher card for Valentine's day.

What was used:
Cricut Paisley (bee cut at 2 3/4 inches)
Ribbon is from Michael's
The stamp is from My Sentiments Exactly Multi Retro Letters Set
The paper the bee is cut from is We are Memory Keepers (this paper was made to be cut on the Cricut!)
Clear bling
Ink for the edges
The patterned paper I have had in my stash for years, I think I bought it from the $1 section at Target.

Horse and Fence Card

Hi everyone,

The daughter of on of my girlfriend is so in love with horses, so I made her a card with a horse in her favorite color. I was so happy to see that Bitten by the Bug 2 had a Fence Challenge.  I thought I would use the card for that too.

I also made smaller pink and purple horses for her cake; made me wish I had the Cricut Cake, but then I know I wouldn't use it much. I was quite lucky to get the colors perfectly with the rest of the cake, because I didn't see it before cutting the horses.

What was used:
Cricut My World for the horses
Cricut Paper Doll Dress Up for the gate
Cricut Create a Critter for the grass
The patterned paper is from Heidi Grace Designs
Bazzill Cardstock for the horse

Key to My Heart Card

Hello everyone,

I made this card for the Cricut and Anna Griffin Handmade Card Contest that was decided on January 20. Unfortunately my card was not chosen, but I am still very happy that I entered it. If you go to the Cricut Official Page on Facebook you will be able to see the really gorgeous winning cards.

The Basic Rules were :
Create a card using at least one Anna Griffin product (paper, stamps stickers etc.) and one or more of the following Cricut cartridges; Don Juan, Winter Lace (...seasonal) and Wall Décor and More.

This is the 5 1/2 X 5 1/2 card that I created for it. The message on the front was continued on the inside of the card and I made a coordinating envelope.

What was used:

Cricut Don Juan (for the letter, welded on my Gypsy)
Cricut Wall Décor & More
