BostonAreaScrapFanatics Design Team Members Wanted

BostonAreaScrapFanatics Design Team Members Wanted

BostonAreaScrapFanatics has a newly designed website, gallery, chat room and soon to be developed blog. We are small, but growing rather quickly.

If you love to play with paper and have an interest in ATCs, scrapbook layouts, altered art and card making, please consider submitting work to our DT for publication on our blog. We will be seeking new DT members August 1, 2010. All submissions for consideration should be emailed to: onlycarol1@comcast.net. Our current DT members will be voting on submissions for the incoming DT.

Our DT term runs for 3 months and requires 2 submissions per month - the 1st and the 15th. The 1st of the month is theme oriented, the 15th is more freestyle. We also require that you provide a strong presence on our forum, checking in and posting daily.

If you think that you might be interested, please email onlycarol1@comcast.net. If not, please come by and check out our new home at www.bostonscrapfanatics.com. We look forward to meeting you there.

Thank you.

Cat In The Hat Page

My daughter made a 'Cat In The Hat' hat at her pre-school to celebrate Dr Suess' birthday. She wore the thing for days so I had to get a few pictures of her wearing the hat. I used SCAL to cut the Cat in the hat and the title is a line from the book. I hope you like it.

The Pink Stamper MPS Challenge

I did these card for a wonderful color challenge hosted by Robyn (The Pink Stamper). I so love her blog! You can find details of the challenge here.

Thinking of you card: I used Forever Young Cricut cart and embossed the paper with Sizzix Embossing plates (Dots and Flowers) in my Cuttlebug.

Thanks Card: I embossed small pieces of paper with Sizzix and Cuttlebug embossing plates. The word "thanks" was embossed on Coredinations paper and sanded. The card was topped off with a three-layered Prima flower.
